Workshop Houston
Workshop Houston was created in 2003 by Seth Capron, Benjy Mason, Katy Goodman, and myself . Our hypothesis was that given the opportunity kids will empower themselves to succeed. By providing the space and skills that excite youth to learn on their own terms, we give them the confidence and options they need to make positive decisions for themselves. Currently, Workshop Houston runs the Third Ward Bike Shop, the Beat Shop, the Chopper Shop, the Style Shop, and the Scholar Shop.
